ROSE RADIOLOGY UNVEILS ITS NEW PATIENT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
PALM HARBOR, FLORIDA - January, 2015 - Rose Radiology Centers, Inc. purchased a state-of-the-art patient information system to enhance the delivery and digital storage of patient information. The massive computer upgrade streamlined the flow of information across clinical, financial and administrative functions throughout all of Rose Radiology's facilities.
In addition to implementing all of the processes necessary to comply with the cumbersome ICD-10 conversion scheduled for October, 2015, the high-tech computer software system includes Electronic Health Record (EHR), practice management tools, business analytic tools, and communication tools for medical practices.
According to Rose Radiology’s Executive Director, Julie Sager, "Replacing the patient information system in a healthcare organization is a giant undertaking; every computer was updated, every bit of data had to be protected, stored and then transferred and every employee had to be trained on the new computer system prior to initializing. It was an enormous project and a major investment of funds and manpower but it is so exciting to see how streamlined our patient and practice management information has become."
