DR. ROSE HONORED WITH ACR FELLOWSHIP DEGREE
Washington, D.C. - May 15, 2011 - The American College of Radiology (ACR) formally announced and conferred the degree of “Fellow” upon Manuel S. Rose, M.D. at their formal convocation ceremony in Washington D.C. today. This honor is voted on by peers and is bestowed on ACR members who have demonstrated a commitment to the specialty of Radiology and shown dedicated service to the field of Radiology. It is one of the highest honors that the ACR recognizes upon its members.
This honor is given to less than 12% of ACR members and to members who have demonstrated a history of service to the College, organized Radiology, and teaching. An excellent professional and community reputation is also necessary to become a Fellow of the ACR. Dr. Rose has served as councilor of the ACR for the last several years and represents the Florida Radiological Society (FRS) at the ACR’s Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. He has been an active member and Board member of the FRS for the last several years and was endorsed by the FRS Chapter to receive this Fellowship recognition.
Dr. Rose says, “I’m honored to become a Fellow of the ACR and to be recognized by my peers. I will always strive to improve the Radiology services provided to patients by myself or to anybody who practices Radiology, with a focus on safety and quality.”
