RRC WELCOMES BOARD CERTIFIED RADIOLOGIST
PALM HARBOR, FLORIDA, July 14, 2014 – Rose Radiology Centers, Inc., is pleased to announce that Timothy A. Richter, M.D., has joined the practice of Rose Radiology as a Staff Radiologist and as one of our Medical Directors. Dr. Richter brings with him outstanding credentials and is certainly an asset to the entire staff at Rose Radiology. He is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and skilled in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging including MRI, PET/CT, Nuclear Medicine, CT, Mammography and Ultrasound. He has special interest and experience in interpreting trauma imaging.
Dr. Richter is originally from Normalville, Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from the InterAmerican Univeristy of Puerto Rico. He was awarded his Medical Degree from Ponce School of Medicine, Ponce Puerto Rico in 1998. After accepting a Commission in the US Air Force, Dr. Richter completed his Internship in General Surgery at Keesler Medical Center in Biloxi Mississippi. After internship he served as a Flight Surgeon and served 2.5 years between Afghanistan and Iraq. He was stationed at MacDill AFB in 2002 and finished his radiology residency in San Antonio TX in 2009. After residency he was sent to Landstuhl Medical Center in Germany where he served as the Chief of Radiology of the largest level 1 DOD radiology center in Europe.
Before joining the staff at Rose Radiology in July 2014, Dr. Richter served for 22 years in various capacities with the Air Force working his way from mechanic to Chief of Radiology. He returned to MacDill AFB in 2013, and retired in 2014. His goal is to provide the highest quality imaging, superior Radiology interpretations and special procedures for Rose Radiology in an outpatient setting. He strives for cost-efficient, timely, personalized services while encouraging frequent and clear communications with referring colleagues.
