PALM HARBOR,
FLORIDA, December 12, 2003 – With over 1 year of results from
the ongoing imaging of patients in the TruScan MRI, Dr. Manuel Rose
put some of his findings into writing. “TruScan MRI in Clinical
Practice – A Radiologist’s Perspective” documents
several cases of MRI findings where substantial differences in diagnosis
were obtained when patients were placed in their positions of pain
or discomfort.
Cases documenting
spinal instability in lumbar spines as well as patients with cervical
flexion and extension views were presented.
Dr. Rose, Owner
and Medical Director of Rose Radiology said, “In the last
year and a half, I have reviewed over 5,000 MRI’s in various
positions of natural weight bearing and I believe that I have a
responsibility to share what I have learned with my professional
colleagues.”
Rose Radiology
– Palm Harbor was the 2nd installation of the “Multi-Positional
Open MRI” in the world. They have since added a second in
their Brandon office.
