GARGI PATEL, M.D.

Dr. Patel is a Medical Director and Staff Radiologist with Rose Radiology Centers, Inc. and Diagnostic Radiology Specialists, PA. She is skilled in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging, and has special expertise in Women’s Health.

Dr. Patel received her Medical Degree from N.H.L. Municipal Medical School in Ahmenabad, India. After which, she relocated to Summit, New Jersey and completed a Rotating Internship and served as Chief Resident at Overlook Hospital (a major affiliate of Columbia University). She then went on to complete a 4- year residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Overlook Hospital. Dr. Patel then completed a two-year Imaging Fellowship focused on Mammography and Nuclear Medicine at Overlook Hospital.

Dr. Patel moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1984 and has worked in a number of capacities in private practice since her fellowship training before joining the staff at Rose Radiology in May 2007. She is active in the Radiological Society of North America and the Hillsborough County Medical Society. Her goal is to provide the highest quality radiological interpretations while maintaining a special interest in Mammography.
